SOS

Goddamn it’s going to be a good weekend. Good friends, good drinks, good vibes all around. Even better, I found this absolute GEM at work today. SOS pumped out this R&B jam that hits you in the feels like a Rock ‘Em Sock ‘Em. This one has sexy written all over it. Sensual vocals whisper in your ear, while a slow jam drum beat is going to make even the Tin Man’s un-oiled hips gyrate. Yeah, I said it. It’s that tight.

Enjoy it while it’s hot!

These Hoes Ain’t Loyal

We’ve all been there. Had that moment. It blows. People suck. /rant.

Anyways, Win and Woo have concocted some interesting mashup/cover/remix of Ed Sheeran’s “Don’t” and Chris Brown’s “Loyal”, which was covered by Eastside.

It’s catchy, really catchy. More tunes for your Wednesday, woo!

Bonus, here’s Eastside’s mashup cover, which is brilliant on its own!

Hump Day Blues

It’s hump day once again. This calls for some mid-week vibes. Why? Because I told you that Wednesday needs vibes to help roll me downhill to the end of the week. That’s why.

Here, listen to Louis The Child’s wobbly synth remix of “Body Gold” and let your mind wander for 3:24.

White Girls Everywhere

If you love Starbucks, Uggs, gym selfies, and doing the sorority squat during every picture possible, then I 100% guarantee you’ll love this mashup, or your money back. DJ Iceb3rg’s mashup, titled “Satellights” features hits from Tritonal, 3LAU & Bright Lights, Krewella, Ron Reeser, and Nick G.

Best part about this mashup? Unlike that $250 North Face of yours, this won’t cost you a penny.

Unleash the Beast

Sometimes when you’re angry, or just raging internally, you need a song to fuel the fire. Yogi did alright with his song “Burial”, but Moody Good turned the “sh!t your pants bass” up to 11. This song is heavier than Fat Albert after a thanksgiving feast, and gnarlier than Kelly Slater on a 50ft swell.

Personally, I rock out to this in the middle of a work day while lost 8 layers deep in CAD-land. But if you’re not as crazy as me, then this might be a little heavy for your 8am alarm.

Or maybe not.

Everything Changes

Ed Sheeran is on fire. Literally, look at his fair (I know, I said it. Deal with it). Sebastien fed off this energy and refixed Sheeran’s popular song “One”. Honestly, this song should only be listened to while under deep though. Seriously. Go for a drive in the middle of the night to clear your mind and throw this on. Listen to the beautiful vocals, piano, and guitar. Let the lyrics flow in and out of your soul. Reflect on your life.

Also, enjoy it.

New School, Old School

Flofilz. Brining hip-hip and rap back to their roots, one song at a time. Here is his song titled “Whirlwind”. This one takes me back to chillin’ with my homies from high school. Nothing better to do than life itself. Throw one back to this.

FINALLY IT’S FRIDAY

GAHD DAMMIT I’ve been swamped. Not only am I backed up at work, but I’ve got a pile of music I need to write about. An actual, physical, pile. It’s a lot. I started this blog to share music, and I need to be doing more of that. SO, with that said, here’s a mini-playlist for your weekend of some tracks to bounce to, or get low to, which ever you prefer. We have selections from ALESIA, Apex Rise, Steezefield, FS Green, NAUT, Sondrio, Milk N Cookies, and Dillion Francis.

Get weird tonight.
